Terrain
Mostly flat woodland paths and riverside tracks. Exposed tree roots and sandstone rock through the gorge section. Main paths are compacted gravel; some muddy stretches after rain.
Accessibility
Main Dene paths are pushchair-accessible on the upper level. Riverside gorge sections have uneven terrain and exposed roots — not suitable for wheelchairs without good off-road capability.
Atmosphere
Intimate, cinematic, local. The city without its armour on. Slow pace, high reward.
