Accessibility
Most stops have accessible viewing areas and car parks. Some castle grounds and coastal paths involve uneven terrain. Lindisfarne is tidal — plan crossing times in advance.

Safety
Never cross the Lindisfarne causeway without checking current tide tables first — it is submerged for several hours each day. Refuge boxes are provided on the causeway for emergencies.
